How Can We Help?
A joining bar is a short structural ceiling-fixed bracket that splices two lengths of aluminium track in line. It carries the curtain glider through the join without a step or bump.
When you need one
- Any single span over 4 m — that’s the longest stock extrusion.
- Multi-bed bay layouts (2-bed, 3-bed) where the front rail is longer than 4 m.
- Retrofits where you’re extending an existing track run.
What it isn’t
A joining bar isn’t a cosmetic cap or a glue-up. It’s a structural splice with its own hanger fixed to the ceiling at that point. The configurator counts it as both an item and an additional hanger.
How many?
- 2-bed bay: 1 joining bar.
- 3-bed bay: 2 joining bars.
- Custom: 1 every time you cross a 4 m span.
The configurator handles this for the seven standard layouts. For custom geometry, send the sketch and we’ll quote with the right count.
